1. Introduction

Aura Meet ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Aura Meet mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture when you sign up via Google, Apple, or email.
  • Meeting Data: Audio transcriptions, AI-generated summaries, action items, and meeting metadata (date, duration, participants).
  • Payment Information: Subscription data is processed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not store your payment details.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
  • Usage Data: Feature usage, meeting frequency, and app interaction patterns.

3. How We Process Your Data

  • On-Device Processing: Audio transcription is performed locally on your device using our on-device AI engine. Raw audio never leaves your device.
  • Cloud Processing: AI-generated insights, summaries, and copilot responses are processed server-side using encrypted connections (TLS 1.3).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Sign-In — Authentication
  • Apple Sign-In — Authentication
  • RevenueCat — Subscription management
  • OpenAI — AI analysis (summaries, insights, copilot). Transcription text is sent to OpenAI for analysis. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your meeting data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual meetings at any time from the History screen. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Export your meeting data (PDF, Markdown)
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Opt out of non-essential data collection

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and regular security audits.

8. Children's Privacy

Aura Meet is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
